Jane Iredale Zap & Hide: Pimple Solution!
Jane Iredale just released a super cute and useful new product for treating pimples. Zap and Hide is in the same format as their Sugar and Butter Lip Exfoliant (which I absolutely adore….mine was knocked into a toilet by a friends cat, broke my heart to toss it but I forgive him). It’s dual ended, giving you two products in one slick little case.
One end is meant to help heal and reduce the blemish with tea tree oil, and the other is a super pigmented concealer to cover it up during said healing.
Now, I was a little doubtful when I first saw this, I thought it was just a cleverly marketed fancy concealer. But there does seem to be some merit. I gave it a try and it did reduce some of the redness and “bumpiness”.
*UPDATE* I could feel a monster of a pimple starting up on my chin the other day (TMI?) and started obsessively putting the Zap bit on it. The blemish never showed up! It killed it before it could come in existence! I. Am. Impressed.
This isn’t meant for someone with severe acne. It is, however, perfect to keep in your bag for when a little guy shows up and you need some reduction and coverage during the day. To really get rid of it I would suggest an overnight spot treatment. Overall I really like it. Added bonus for the packaging feeling really nice in the hand.
Well done Jane Iredale! Visit us at www.spaboutique.ca for more great products.
