We love being able to provide our customers with a wide range of high-quality professional skin care products.  We are always searching for new lines to carry and when we were introduced to Vivierskin we knew that we had to have it!  Vivierskin is known as the worlds #1 Vitamin C line and best of all its made right here in Canada!  Vitamin C is an amazing ingredient in skin care known for its anti-aging, brightening, and antioxidant abilities (just to mention a few).  These days there are so many lines out there claiming to use Vitamin C as an active ingredient so how can you know which is better?

Vitamin C comes in many forms

Vitamin C comes in many forms such as Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, L-Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbic acid, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Retinyl Asorbate, and more.  Ok, I’m not a scientist, so what does this all mean?  According to the scientists at Vivierskin, L-Ascorbic Acid is the only form of Vitamin C that can actually be absorbed into the skin – the others just sit on the surface.

The L-Ascorbic Acid used in Vivierskin formulations is pharmaceutical grade and certified to be at least 99% pure by USP (U.S Pharmacopeia).  USP is a federally recognized independent organization that offers quality testing an monitoring to verify that ingredients comply with federal regulations.  Through laboratory testing, USP checks for quality, purity, and potency of ingredients and provides ongoing random testing to ensure that they continue to meet USP standards.

What else? Vivierskin’s Vitamin C remains stable in the package for 36 months (which is huge for Vitamin C!) and stays in the dermis 3x longer than other leading L-Ascorbic Acid formulas.

The Vivierskin range

The Vivierskin range is fairly simple and straightforward as it is more of a results-driven medical line and not a fluffy, pretty line.  The range includes cleansers, toners and an exfoliator to prepare the skin; Vitamin C Serums (different formulations depending on skin type) and eye therapy products to correct damage; moisturizers; and sun protection.  Best of all, there are skin care kits geared toward specific  skin types (at big savings!).

I must say that I am very impressed with this line and I can’t wait to get started using it! Not only is the Vitamin C USP verified, there are also clinical studies done by outside organizations that back up the efficacy of the products.
