BEHIND BEAUTY: How to shape your eyebrows: A Step by step guide
Eyebrows, they help to define your look, your style… but first, you need to define them!
Tools needed:
Step 1: Trim
Use your brow or spoolie brush to comb the eyebrows straight up. If there are extra-long hairs trim them using your scissors. Next, brush eyebrows straight down and trim as necessary. Be sure not to trim too short as this can look unnatural.
Step 2: Measure
Using your brush, measure where your eyebrow centre edge, arch, and outer edge should be. Place your brush vertically at the side of your nostril – it will line up where the centre edge of your eyebrow should start (1). Place your brush at the side of your nostril and outward toward the pupil of your eye – the arch should be above this point (2). Lastly, place your brush at the side of your nostril and outward toward the outside edge of your eye – the end of the brush will point to where your eyebrow should end (3).

Step 3: Tweeze
Now that you have determined where your eyebrow should start, arch, and end, you can begin to tweeze. Use your fingers to make the skin taught in the area that you are tweezing. Pull the hairs one at a time with the direction of hair growth.

Step 4: Calm
Apply a calming, soothing lotion or gel. Those that contain aloe and lavender work great. You may also apply a pure mineral powder to cover the redness and further calm the skin.
Normally you will need to re-shape after about 2-4 weeks depending how fast your hair grows. If you make a mistake don’t do the same to the other eyebrow, just use an eyebrow powder or pencil to fill in until it grows back.
