The brand is called Extend-it and they offer extensions in a wide variety of shades including multi-tonal. Each set of hair extensions comes in a pack of 6 pieces; 2 large and 4 medium. You can choose between either 16 or 20 inches in length.
Extend-it hair extensions are clipped into the hair with easy to use barrette clips that snap closed. The large pieces have 3 barrettes each and the medium pieces have 2 barrettes each. The clips are the best on the market and will not break, rust, or weaken and they are guaranteed for life!
How to use your Extend-it hair extensions:
1. Brush or comb your hair to ensure there are no knots
2. Part your hair in 2 sections, creating a straight line all around your head from just above your ears, clip up all hair above the part
3. Affix one of the large pieces to the back of your head along the part line
4. Affix one medium piece to each side of your head along the part line
5. Release all of your hair from the top section
6. Create another part line a couple of inches above your first one, clip up all hair above the part
7. Repeat steps 3 & 4 then release the hair you clipped up on top
8. Style as usual!
How to care for your Extend-it hair extensions:
•Remove your extensions at the end of each day
•Wash & Condition your extensions regularly especially if you are using styling products
•When storing, try to keep them flat with clips closed
Extend-it also has individual highlight pieces that can be purchased separately! They come in 17 tones and include natural tones as well as 10 fun colors like pink, blue, lavender, and orange!
Have you ever had hair extensions? What was your experience with them? I’ve used 3 different types of clip-in extensions, all of varying degrees of quality. I loved 2 out of 3 sets. Here’s the reason why I didn’t love the 3rd set:
•low quality •hair was dry and got tangled & matted (not a pretty look) •barrette clips came off •barrette clips rusted •they looked like a rats nest after just a few usesMy advice… Don’t cheap out, go for the good-quality ones as they will last much longer and look way better!
